Vince Cardella
Born and educated in Montreal, Vince is happy to trade the weather extremes of La Belle Province in exchange for the comparatively balmy climes of the West Coast.
Armed with an undergraduate and masters degree in finance from Concordia University, Vince joined one of the few international, triple-A rated life insurance companies that exists and helped the company design and develop its first universal life product for Canada.
Then in a national business development role, Vince was responsible for developing and training the company's third party sales force and distribution network.
Prior to co-founding Meritus Financial, Vince practiced as an Estate Planning Specialist with Canada's leading bank-owned wealth management company. With his extensive product knowledge and industry experience, Vince continues to be a regular presenter at national and regional wealth management conferences, notable accounting firms and prominent law firms. Vince was a member of the advisory board for Canada's largest life insurance company and was a member of the firm's Compliance Committee.
To complement his MBA in finance, Vince has achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
In his free time, Vince enjoys playing ice hockey and exercises his patience on the golf course. He also loves putting together music compilations in his basement where he can re-live his glory days as the university campus disc jockey ' sometimes to the dismay of his wife and two children.
