Samantha was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. She and her family moved to British Columbia when she was a toddler, and she was raised in the North Shore region of Metro Vancouver. She loves the North Shore's natural beauty and family-friendly environment, and feels privileged to have the opportunity to live and raise her own family in this part of Canada.

After being awarded her first degree at Simon Fraser University, Samantha completed further post graduate education in information technology. Her education and training has led to roles at a large bank-owned brokerage firm, and as a senior project manager in one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies, where she led the development and implementation of a multi-year, billion dollar investment in a direct-to-consumer media business.

With her extensive background in business process and project management, Samantha specializes in helping business owners and corporations design competitive group benefits programs to attract and retain high value employees. She understands that people are a company's most important strategic asset and protecting them helps to build a better business.

Samantha has always led an active lifestyle. In addition to co-founding a scuba diving club at Simon Fraser University, Samantha enjoys most winter sports, especially snow shoeing, and has (by far) the best "Zumba" moves at Meritus! A seasoned traveller, Samantha loves exploring the world with her husband and daughter.
